Senior Chartered Accountant - Calgary Downtown
Requirements
- strong analytical, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- minimum of three years as a C.A. in public accounting
- current knowledge of CICA handbook and public accounting issues
- experience in the file review and team training process
- knowledge of caseware/caseview, profile, standard accounting packages
- in depth experience in reviews and audits
- proven ability to interact with clients and staff of various levels
- strong commitment to client service
- effective time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- direct management and development of staff to ensure their effectiveness in areas of responsibility and ensure that all staff receive appropriate training
- responsible for the design, planning, executions and reporting of financial audit activities
- responsible for assessing risk and internal control systems with respect to all key financial reporting processes to create realistic recommendations for continuous improvement
- 2-3 years of post graduate experience with exposure to a variety of industries
- proven ability to interact with co-workers, management and clients alike in a manner that is respectful, patient, and understanding
- demonstrates the ability to handle multiple priorities
- is keen to assist in the development and implementation of audit strategies for various clients
- excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the client's business and maintain strong client relationships
