C. James Sandiford, BA, CA, CPA (Illinois)
Jim is graduated from the University of Toronto and completed his CA designation at KPMG in 1979. Jim is also a US CPA and provides tax and accounting services to US citizens and companies.
Jim completed the CICA in depth tax course and provides a wide range of personal and corporate income tax services. His clientele includes virtually all commercial and non-profit sectors.
Jim was a partner of McCluggage & Smith which merged with DNTW effective January 1, 2010.
Apart from advising many clients over the years, Jim’s community involvement involves being the Chartered President and current Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Markham Sunrise Inc. Jim was awarded Rotary’s highest honour twice receiving the Paul Harris Fellow Award for his community service.
Jim currently chairs a Town of Markham Committee and is the Chair Person of the Markham Santa Claus Parade.
Joanne Smith, BA, CA
Joanne, a graduate of York University, earned her CA designation in 1985 with Thorne Riddell. That same year, she joined McCluggage & Smith where she dealt with a diverse clientele that ranged from owner managed real estate companies to religious charities and trusts.
In between tax seasons, Joanne married Rob Kinsman, another CA, and has brought up two children, Sarah and Sean.
